Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord's Town Loyalty and Security sound like daunting concepts, especially if this is the first settlement you get to control. They don't work in a vacuum and, while the surrounding world will eventually threaten them, you have a couple of avenues to make sure that the people won't hate your guts enough to raise arms Maybe someone asked this before, but im just curious about how the hell can i obtain a faction settlement while being vassal of that faction? Can anybody tell me how I can influence the new drift-values? I´m in Mid-Campaign playing as Vlandians and the settlements are Sturgian. I´m owning a city and two castles. all three are losing loyality and security due to the new drift values. Even with stopping all buildng queues and having tournaments instead my loyality is going down. Other threads I found via google simply state that Q1.) If you clear the bandits near your settlement will it have a great effect? - You get a small relationship bonus with local people, you get prisoners and loot from the camps, great way to train combat skills for you and companions Q2.) IF I clear the bandit hideout near said settlement I noticed immediately it had a good effect on nearby Currently the system isn't really very clear. The only way to get fiefdoms is by the voting system - but it is not actually clear what determines the valid candidates in the election. It's depending on how many fiefdoms you and your vassals own. If there are vassals without any titles, they probably have a priority.
