DT990Pro 250 Gaming problems. So I started using the oratory1990 Auto EQ with The APO Equalizer + peace and it sounds amazing. The music sounds very good not matter what genre I’m listening to but in games things like gunshots and such sounds super nice and clear but things like foot steps and other things don’t sound as loud in games.The770 is less accurate in the low end due to the closed back design, the 990 doesn't isolate you from the room, so it sounds more natural, and less fatiguing to work with for long periods. I've done a bunch of mixing on the 990 and they are a very nice headphone. I also have the 770's I use for people in the studio as a guest monitor. Butit would improve your volume issues. I have 80 Ohms and an audio interface. Even at low volumes, around 40% on the interface and 15/100 in windows, its extremely loud. Seems weird that you would have low volume with a 30 ohms set. Youdon't need a pricey AMP. If the DAC on your MB is fine (no static noise etc), you can spend 20-30USD and get a decent amp from Fosi or Aiyima. I wouldn't suggest cutting from Headphone budget. Yeah, you could also get something like the ibasso dc05 or shanling ua1 pro for the dt 770 80 ohm. get the 80 ohm one.
